How to get to the Arboretum
The Morgan Arboretum is in the northern part of Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue at the extreme western tip of the island of Montreal. To reach us:
Highway 40- Take exit 41 for Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue and follow the signs for Chemin Ste-Marie. Turn left at the stop sign at the top of the hill onto Chemin des Pins and follow the signs for the Pines Office.
Highway 20- Take exit 39 for Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue and follow the signs for Highway 40. As you pass the the Veteran's Hospital, follow the signs for "40 ouest", stay to the left and take Chemin Ste-Marie. Turn left at the stop sign at the top of the hill onto Chemin des Pins and follow the signs for the Pines Office.
Coming by public transport
The 210 bus is the one that comes closest but it only runs during the week. The route goes from Fairview Shopping Centre westward to the Macdonald Campus via Chemin Sainte-Marie. You can be dropped off at the corner of Chemin des Pins which is a 15 minute walk to the Arboretum Gatehouse.
If you are planning to visit on the weekend, you may consider taking your bicycle on the Montreal-Rigaud train, drop off at the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue station and cycle over. The shortest route is to take the bicycle path northward (10 minutes) or go south towards the village and west to the lower Campus, then northward to the Arboretum (20 minutes).
Another way is to take the 211 which runs 7 days/week from the Lionel Groulx metro station to the Campus. From there, you can walk northward for 40 minutes to the Arboretum Gatehouse or take a cab -the only cab Co. serving this area is the Coop which can be reached at 514-636-6666.
